    Remembering Sydney

    Protective at times, fiercely independent and always my loyal companion for nearly 15 years. Thank you, Sydney, for finding me, for protecting me (even when I didn’t need protecting), for all our amazing adventures together, for kissing my tears away and always staying close when life got scary. I hope wherever you are, I get to go there too in the end. Until then, I will miss you terribly, always, but take comfort in knowing you lived your best life ever. I’m so glad it got to be with me!
