Whenever older people with mobility issues come to visit, Misty tries to lay on their lap so they can’t get up and move around. We are pretty sure she thinks she is protecting them, but at 70 lbs she is not always a welcome lap dog.
Misty became an accidental White Whiskers patient in October of 2021 when her fur sister needed a visit. The plan was to have Misty seen occasionally as needed but she soon made herself a regular by getting in a tussle with her younger sister and becoming sore. Since then, she has been a regular puzzle for Dr. Kelly, but she loves her treatments. As we have tried to treat a muscle injury that is stubborn to heal, Dr. Kelly has had to try everything! Working in conjunction with her primary vet and White Whiskers, Misty is feeling better…happy and joyful….while still working towards more recovery. Misty’s mom loves that White Whiskers can work with the dogs primary vet to come up with a solid and sensible plan for her aging girls….all with love and tremendous support.
