    Artist Bio

    I was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I’ve drawn and painted for as long as I can remember.

    In 2008 I earned my bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in painting from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. I also took a summer course at New York Studio School and interned with abstract expressionist, Sammy Peters in Little Rock, AR.

    For the next decade I lived in several states, working as a line-cook and making art part-time.

    In 2019, I moved to Jacksonville, Florida and became a full-time artist.

    In 2021, I moved to Colorado Springs, CO, where I currently reside. I work out of my home studio, drawing and painting original art and making my own fine-art prints to sell at markets and festivals.

    Artistic Influences and Style

    For portraiture, my favorite style is best described as impressionism/post impressionism heavily influenced by Van Gogh. I can work more realistically upon request.
