As a kid, Daniel would always say he wanted to be an artist. He was raised in a military household which introduced him to a vast number of cultures. As Daniel got older, he was inspired to follow his father’s footsteps and join the Air Force. The military caused Daniel to travel, which allowed him to see different people, places, and animals all over the world. He medically retired after serving for 11 years. After being exposed to so many beautiful experiences around the world, Daniel decided to pursue his childhood dream of being an artist, and received a bachelors in illustration from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. This inspired Daniel to create his brand DALO ART + DESIGN.
Daniel illustrates and paints a rough and edgy style to animal portraiture and landscapes. His inspiration comes from observation and lived life experiences. Daniel’s love for animals often shows in his work, and his landscapes comes from his appreciation of the world around him.
