    Remembering Murko

    I had the privilege of being Murko’s Mom for approximately the last 6 years of his life. It was love at first sight when I saw him peeking into my kitchen door. He was a beautiful Tabby, with markings that I referred to as his “ abstract art”. And he was so sweet and feisty! His fighting spirit is what sustained him through quite a list of health problems. He required a lot of vet care and medications, yet overall was a very active hunter, loved to play, and was very friendly. And he was so loved and pampered! Originally he came into the USA from Britain with his original owners, and he made a trip to Canada with me several years ago. He was quite the adventurer! Eventually Murko, at almost 14 years of age, showed signs that his health concerns and associated interventions were too significantly compromising his quality of life, and I had to help him cross over the Rainbow Bridge. Losing my precious, furry, companion is incredibly painful. Murko, I will miss you, love you, and carry you in my heart and spirit forever.
