    Trixie's Story

    Trixie is our youngest patient. This rescue dog is a special case due to a chronic condition causing her to behave like a dog much older than her. While this condition can’t be cured, we can make her feel better so she can get the most out of her younger years. Her parents want her to act her age and enjoy her life as much and for as long as possible.

    Trixie's White Whiskers Experience

    We worked with her to ween her off chronic steroids which have significant short and long term side effects. Now, with a combination of safer medications and or tx, she’s pulling on the leash and is acting like the pup she is. We will be there supporting Trixie through every step of her journey!
